History

En Agape Christian Fellowship is a registed 501(c)3 charitable organization. First establish in February of 1982, En Agape was founded by Dr. Harold R. Dewberry. The congregation was initially called King of Glory Lutheran Church when Dr. Dewberry came to become the Senior Pastor. The members decided to rename the church and leave the Lutheran denomination to become non-denominational, thereby granting more freedom in the services. Dr. Dewberry enjoyed great success in building the church to become a church that offered a solid Biblical teaching, life changing counseling, and a healing and outreach community that has trained and mentored countless ministers and lay people over the years.

On July 22nd, 2015, Dr. Harold R. Dewberry passed away due to complications of Lymphoma. His son, Anthony D. Dewberry, has taken on the Senior Pastor role for En Agape, carrying on the mission to restore the "foundations of many generations." Ps. Anthony is very committed to teaching the Body of Christ how to be accountable so that they can gain all of the benefits of having a relationship with God. Currently we are on a teaching arc of the Old Testament with a focus on learning the Laws of God, and the significance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
